Well, after 20 years online I've decided that I really, really dislike most of the opportunities I see online! Here's why...
Take any mlm for example.
They all claim to be the best and have the best products that will do you the most good in the area of weight loss, longevity, brain function, joint inflamation and/or sexual performance.
First of all, they can't each be Number One! That's impossible.
Secondly, over the years, I've tried products from over 50 mlm companies and not one
has ever changed any aspect of my health or lifestyle! With the exception of one company, and no, I'm not gonna try selling you in this press release!
Thirdly, there's too much competition. By this I mean, with the millions of people all selling similar products; there's just major competion. Look online, everyone is selling something. People online don't want to buy...they're trying to sell.
Forth. Let's take CBD Oil as an example, the big box stores are now selling the same stuff you're trying to sell with your little company website. These Stores, Target, Walmart, CVS Pharmacy, Walgreens, RiteAid, The Vitamin Shoppe and GNC can reach millions!!! Can you? No you can't and that means that basically, your market is gone. Plus, these stores can sell for less money than you can and still profit.
I was in a Kroger's Grocery Store last week and in their Pharmacy section was a huge display of all types of CBD Products. It was awesome. Their pricing was lower than I've seen online too.
And before you start trying to argue with me about lesser quality with a lower price forget it. People don't care! They'd rather have a lower price.
So sadly, we just don't have the money it would take to challenge the big guys that can spend millions daily just to get people to visit there locations.
Realistically, how much do you spend daily to get visitors? See?
Now that I've depressed everyone reading this, let me tell you what I decided might be a solution to this problem.
Obviously, we need to be able to offer something that has real value. Not any hyped-up product but, something that genuinely helps others.
Then, once we find that, it would help us if that company or service or product had little competition. It would also help if the product or service happened to be proprietary.
Meaning that thousands of knock-off products won't be showing up in the marketplace.
Another feature I look for, how much selling do I have to do. I've sold for years. I like it. However, most hate to sell or don't really know how so; anything that you can advertise without doing much selling is a plus.
Lastly, I like products and services that are termed 'big ticket' items. We shouldn't let that term 'big ticket' scare us.
I sold Rolls Royce Automobiles in Las Vegas, Nevada. Believe me, it takes no more effort than selling a Chevrolet. The sale is the same. Same process, same effort. But, nicer commissions.
I know for a fact there are a few products that meet this criteria. You just have to look for one that interests you.
Anyway, my rambling for today is done. Hope you've gotten some ideas from it. Thanks for taking the time to read it.
All the best,
